Rates and logistical handling No extra costs will be charged for the purchase and sale of products via Clock pre sales. The standard auction rates for customers and suppliers also apply to this sales channel. Furthermore, the logistical handling takes place in the same way as usual for customers and suppliers.
Products You will find an overview of the auction groups that can be offered via Clock pre sales on our website. Only A1 quality can be offered via Clock pre sales.
Supply for Clock pre sales In order to offer products via Clock pre sales, suppliers have to enter their price on the electronic delivery form (EAB) and add their own product photo. Suppliers can then offer a certain part of their auc-tion supply to customers via Clock pre sales. Cut flowers or potted plants that are not reserved via Clock pre sales will automatically be offered for sale at the auction.
Clock pre sales gives customers and suppliers of Veiling Rhein-Maas the opportunity to reserve or offer certain products, destined for the auction clock, in advance of or at the auction day at a fixed price.
How does Clock pre sales work? Using Clock pre sales, suppliers are able to offer customers of Veiling Rhein-Maas a certain amount of their products before the regular auction at a price determined in advance.
Customers of Veiling Rhein-Maas can reserve these products online from 14:00 on the day before the auction up to 5:45 on the morning of the auction, at prices determined by the suppliers in advance. The supply overview provides customers with all the product information that is also displayed at the auction clock, in-cluding a product photo.
When the products are supplied, the
product details stated by the supplier are checked at the Quality Control depart-ment of Veiling Rhein-Maas. In addition, customers are informed immediately about any changes. The definitive sale takes place simultaneously with the auc-tioning of the remaining products of the supplier on the auction day.
Regarding potted plants, it is possible to reserve entire CC containers of sample lots and large lots. In addition, some lots can be reserved per layer (CC container) or per auction trolley unit.
In the case of cut flowers, at least one sales unit must be reserved (bucket or box).
