Field interview . Mr . George Audish, owner of the Big Apache mine that he has leased to Archie Pitts and Emet Kolk. They have continued the assessment work . He also reports that he has located the engine driven pump that he had in California Gulch. GWI WR 7/12/72

The Big Apache mine was supposed to be opened but apparently only assessment work being done . GWI AR 73-74

Field interview - George Audish to see if there were any reports of activity in the Calif . GUlch at his property . He said none, but that Charlie Lemons had dropped in to report that he had recovered a power pump that had been stolen from the Audish property . GWI WR 12/2/75

George Audish, 221 W. Palmdale,Tucson, Arizona, has mining properties in California Gulch south of Arivaca. GWI WR 1-16-66

Audish reports that he removed his equipment from California Gulch, asked if he could remove his buildings. GWI WR 7-22-66

Big Apache mine - buildings now vacant, equipment moved. GWl WR 11-5-66

Mine visit to Apache Mine - no one around - compressor and bulldozer in camp. Assessment work recently completed. GWI WR 9-3-67

Telephone call that George Audish's house had been burned. GWI WR 9-10-67

Visited Apache mine - no one around. GWI WR 11-11-67

Mr. Joy Go McCartney of Gold Seal in Denver - designing a gold saving machine at Audish plant. GWI WR 12-2-67

Field interview with George Audish - picked up results of soil sampling. GWI WR 1-20-68

Mr. George Audish called and said that the Forest Service said that some of his claims corners were missing. (They had been unusually well marked.) GWI WR 4-20-68

Office call from William Reed, attorney for 3 Anaconda employees that are leasing George Audish's Big Monument and Apache Mining property in California Gulch. GWI WR 5-18-68

Mine visit to Big Apache mine of Mr. George Audish. GWI WR 3-8-69

Telephone call from George Audish - said that the Forest Service was after him again. GWI WR 3-22-69

Mr. George Audish leased his Big Apache mine to a group of miners from Tucson that plan to incorporate and do some mining. GWI QR 3-1969
