The property is situated along the backbone of the Dripping Springs Range of mountains at an elevation of approximately 3500 teet above sea level. The Gila River, and the Ar~zo11a Eastern Railroad lie ' about 5 mIas·· to the south, and tJ?e Dripping Springs Wash about 3 miles north. Topography is quite rugged; with deep canyons and precipitous slopes in all directions. Vegetation is extremely scanty. .

Mine Workings: Amt. & Condition

A detailed enumeration 01' mine workings would be too voluminous to ~nclude here. There ~e eight ~s varying in depth from 300 to 500 teet';~ several thousand teet 01' drifts,'1 cross-cuts and tunnels, many irregular stapes alld a variety of shallow surt'ace cuts and pits. Most ot the shafts are open i

but inaccessible without timbering. Much of the lateral work is open anA can be ent,e,red tor examination and sampling. Some ot the old stopes are also accessible.' (over)
