Consumer of NESCO can directly apply for New Service Connection from the Nesco website

Steps to Navigate - Log on to http://www.nescoodisha.com or http://www.nescoorissa.com

- Click on the new connection image which circled in red in the following screenshot.

- Clicking on the new connection image will open the following page which allow the consumer to fill the required details

- Consumers are requested to click on Save button(Marked in red in the following screen) after filling details.

- Clicking on save button will successfully place the service connection request from consumer and display a auto generated Number which can be considered as Service connection Application number i.e.N423420031300002 (see the red marked number in the below screenshot)

- Please click on Ok button to confirm.

- Please click on Ok button to confirm. - After clicking on Ok button “Form1” will be populated with all the details entered by consumers with the application

number on top of every page. - Consumers are requested to take the print out of the list of pages and submit to nearest section office.

- Consumer can print the duplicate copy of form1 whenever he/she desires from Reports -> View/Print Form1 by putting the search option.(see the following screen for details)

For Official Use

- Verify that the service connection request is placed successfully however that is partially completed and available in a pending state.

- The concern person I.e JE/SDO will fill the required details and complete the service connection cycle. - Log on to http://www.odishadiscoms.com - Click on “Employee Login” menu on the right corner of the home page shown below in the screen shot

- Click on “NESCO” as shown below screen shot

- Verify that the user log in page will appear and please enter the credential assign to you to log in and complete the operation

- Verify that the application dashboard page will appear. please select subdivision,role and click on the “new connection” link as shown below.

- Verify that the connection request(s) placed by consumers are displayed as pending under incomplete section(as shown below)

- JE/SDO can complete the connection by filling required details. - Click on Save button

- After clicking on the Save button A summary report of that connection will be displayed which can be printed and given to consumer for all future reference. Following screenshot is the example of a summary report.

- Through this simplified connection module various reports can be downloaded and printed. Billing center peoples can directly download the reports even daily basis without expecting from sub division and division office for billing purposes. see the following screenshots for details

- All the data shown in any of the reports can be exported to excel format.
