Construction Skill Development Council Of India

CSDCI participated in 3 days ‘Rozgar Mela cum Skill Exhibition’ organised by NSDC at , Keonjhar, Odisha on 21st – 23rd November. Training Partners spent three days on the ground, meeting jobseekers and counselled them on the employment opportunities in the construction industry. Participants have shown interest to get trained under various job roles.

AICTE, Government of India in partnership of ICT Academy organised an exclusive Leadership Round Table with participation from Vice Chancellors of Key Technical Universities across the Nation along with 25 Industry Leaders and the Policy Makers of Higher Education was participated by CEO, CSDCI. The focus areas for Round Table was:

• Ways to Prepare our Indian Technical Talent for Industry 4.0 • Industry Collaboration for Faculty Empowerment. • Partnerships with Industry in Curriculum Changes, Developments in Technology. • Efforts towards Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship • Corporate Support to Academia through various Resources • Employability Enhancement Initiatives • AICTE Internship Policy - The way forward

CSDCI participated in 2 days ‘Rozgar Mela cum Skill Exhibition’ organised by NSDC at Mumbai, Maharashtra on 24th – 25th November. CSDCI demonstrating virtual reality based construction skill training module in Mumbai Exhibition. Shri Kirit Somaiya, BJP Member of the Lok Sabha, awarded certificate to CSDCI in participating in Mumbai Rozgar Mela & Skill Exhibition.

A meeting was held at Bhopal with Principal Secretary (Labour Department Madhya Pradesh), Director (MPSDM), Industry Leaders, CEO (CSDCI), for proposal for operating of Centre of Excellence at Bhopal. Centre of Excellence has been constructed by Labour department of Madhya Pradesh out of BoCW fund.

PMKVY RPL- Construction Painter & Decorator Assessment being conducted by Bhavishya Uday Shiksha Evam Bal Chetna Samiti at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

TOT- Rural Mason Level 4 & Mason General level 4 (Trainer/Assessor) program being conducted at OPJCC Raigarh.
