• Increase the work productivity.

• Work efficiency and costs reduction.

• Carry out manually impossible activities/tasks.

• Eliminates heavy manual work and the associated

fatigue/stress and this can help to increase workers

productivity.

• Maintain a planned rate of production , particularlywhen there is a shortage of unskilled labour.

• BUYING

 – Available When needed. No bluff from plant suppliers

 – Cost of idle time (“standing time”) caused by inclement

weather or the delay caused by late deliveries of

materials will generally be less

 – Flexibility in apportioning the plant costs between

various contracts
