• BUYING

– Available When needed. No bluff from plant suppliers

– Cost of idle time (“standing time”) caused by inclement

weather or the delay caused by late deliveries of

materials will generally be less

– Flexibility in apportioning the plant costs between

various contracts

– Used for specific needs (as required) and short

periods.

– No worries about operator, fuel, lubricants,

_CONTROL_PURPOSE

• Track idle (‘standing”) time and introducemeasures to reduce it.

• To prevent plant abuse

• Comply with the Health & Safety Standards(

OHSA 85 of 1993 & Construction Regulations

2014)

• Erection/Installation-Complies with Safety Standards-Section 44.
