• BMC issued CFO NOC for 17 storied building proposal

on 8th March 2016 vide no. FB/HR/RII/267.

• Approval from building Proposal Department of BMC is

obtained on 13th April 2016 vide no. EB/8644/FS/A which

allows to start work of construction of shoring system on

immediate basis.

prime focus on promoting aspiring actors and artists.

Air Conditioned Multipurpose Hall :

Public Meetings and Social Functions (Level -6)

• Fully furnished 4.2m high multipurpose hall facility to accommodate up to 800

persons.

• The facility to host public meetings, gatherings and cultural programs.

• Fully air-conditioned facility with partition systems to accommodate multiple

gatherings.

Art Gallery for Display of Artworks for aspiring

artists along with established artists (level 7)

Art gallery to display works of artists.

Gallery to be equipped with permanent exhibit area to display works of

aspiring artists.

Museum on Life and Mission of Dr. Ambedkar

(Level- 8)

• One complete floor of 10000 sq. ft. will be dedicated for

creation and development of Museum

• Audio visual facility to view and listen to speeches of Dr.

Ambedkar.

• A.V. room to have pre-defined programs

• The facility to have digital screens with interactive medium.

Reading Hall facility (24 x 7) (Level -9)

• One complete floor of 10000 sq.ft. will be dedicated to

creation of Reading Hall

• Dedicated 24x7x365 reading hall facility

with ambient study environment.

• The facility to be equipped with glass

panels and acoustic panels to control

noise level.

• The reading hall will also include a locker

facility to store books and lounge area with

relaxation chairs.

Library and AV facility (Level 10)

• One complete floor of 10000 sq.ft. will be dedicated to creation and

development of Library- This Library will have books related to

development and movements of underprivileged across the world.

• Library facility with a capacity to store 1 lakh

books, initially to be equipped with 25,000

books.

• The facility will also be equipped with a

reprographic center.

• The e-library area to have kiosks with access

to various journals, articles and worldwide

publications.

CHILDREN'S LIBRARY AND PLAY AREA

(Level -11)

• One complete floor will be dedicated to creation and development of

Children Library and Play Area -

• Children's library and play area to be equipped with children's books and toys.

• Supervisory stations to be included in between play areas to overlook the

children.

• Training room facility to train the trainers for children development

Research Centre (Level -12)

• One complete floor of 10000 sq.ft. will be dedicated to creation

School of Economics and Research Centre

• Lecture hall facility to host series of lectures, debates and discussions on

economics

• A dedicated economics reference library with access to 10,000 books.

• E- library to have kiosks with reference to economics journals, articles and case

studies from across the globe by renowned economists and leaders.

Career Guidance, Skill Development

and Incubation Centre (Level -13)

• One complete floor will be dedicated for these activities

• Skill Development and Career Guidance Centre

• Incubation center to have guidance for start-ups and

entrepreneurs.

• Facility to include 20-25 incubation cells, mentor and

visiting mentor cabins, venture meeting rooms etc.

• Additional facilities include support staff, reprographic

center, food vending machine and pantry

Dormitory and Canteen Facility (Level -14)

Dormitories for persons visiting Mumbai from far off places for job

interview, medical needs, etc.

There will be footfall of more than 1000 persons from various walks of

the life and from various places visiting this social centre, A canteen

with reasonable rates for food items will be provided.

• Dormitory for 10 women and 20 Men

for short stay in Mumbai for various

urgent needs.

• Canteen facility to serve guests, office

staff etc.

BARTI: Regional Centre (on lease for 30 years )

(Level -15)

• Total built-up-area of around 10,000 sq.ft.

• Dedicated office space (carpet area) of 6,000 sq.ft.

• To be leased for regional office of B.A.R.T.I for a period of 30 years.

Trust office with Board Room and

Conference Room (Level – 16)One floor of 8000 sqft will house Trust office and administration office of the

facility and Legal aid centre, Women empowerment centre

• This level to include the trust office along with guest room facility.

• A legal aid center for counseling purpose to be a part of this level.

Dhamma Training Centre, Vippassana

• One complete floor of 10000 sq.ft. will be dedicated to creation of

Dhamma (Religious) Training Centre and Vippassana / Meditation

Proposal for BARTI• One full floor admeasuring 10000 sqft. for a period of 30

years at a nominal rent of RS. 1/- per year.

• Auditorium, conference rooms, lecture halls for a period of

30 days in a year free of cost.

• BARTI shall facilitate conduct of various TPIT activities for

empowerment and capacity building of weaker

• Section of the society by providing full budgetary support.

• The running and maintenance cot of the building will be

shared equally between TPIT and BARTI.

Budget Estimate

The total construction cost of the project will

be around 60-65 crores

BARTI will be giving advance funds of

around 60 crores for the construction.

Recurring expenses will be met with the

Revenue Generated and share from

BARTI.
