Our Students
Kayleigh Robertson, Mechanics
Studying Mechanics at West Lothian College has been one of the best experiences of my life.I have been given so many wonderful opportunities through the college, one of the biggest challenges happened this year, when the college told me about the chance to work closely with BBC3 abroad.I am now working as an apprentice and I think that due to the college and the lecturers believing in me, pushing me forward and helping me through the course work, is one of the main reasons I have been so successful. The lecturers will always go out their way to help you and always want to see you successful. I would recommend anyone who wants to study mechanics – male or female – to do so at West Lothian College.Between the help of the lecturers and in the mechanics department and the opportunities that they can give to you, you can start of the rest of your life here.
AaronArmit, Advanced Craft Joinery
West Lothian College is great; all the members of staff are very helpful and always on hand for guidance. Thanks to great lecturing staff at the College I learned more than I hoped and gained the knowledge I needed to succeed in the industryIn the future I am hoping to advance onto a HNC or possibly degree in construction, where I can become a lecturer or advance to an architect. I believe with West Lothian College this is very possible, and help is always there when needed. From the great facilities to the encouraging and supportive lecturing staff, I have gained my potential.
The College is successful because we attract students who want to improve employment and career prospects.
