The positive aspects of a monarchy are very vital to everyone on the island agreeing with the selection of government. There are many positive aspects, the most important are: consistency, unity, and getting things done. If each of these is executed correctly, a monarchy can have few faults.

Consistency is doing things the same way with no change. It’s very important word, especially to a monarchy. For example the constant change of a leader can stir up trouble with the inhabitants of the government. But if one leader is consistent then unless the monarch has his/her own troubles with the islanders, then there can be no real problems with politics.

Would any government survive without a sense of unity or trust? The question is almost rhetorical, because no government would make it without some sort of relationship of trust. If the island is not united, then there will be utter chaos and reign of underground overthrow attempts which are not needed. Unity helps with consistency so that the trust is instilled throughout the island. With this trust, things can be done a lot easier with less debate and discussion problems. Which leads to the next aspect, getting things done.

In many other governments such as democracy, many ideas are tossed around in debate, in the end shot down. But instead of that, just get things done. If they are only voted upon then approved by the king, then there is no confusion or problems. This helps any ideas from anyone to not be thrown around a debate and get forgotten. But with a single vote and approval, all mass confusion can be avoided.

Sure, monarchies have almost been forgotten in most places. But just like old 80’s fads, it can be brought back. And with a true, good, honest leader, can be brought back for the best.
