ARTICLE I : LEGISLATIVE BRANCH

ARTICLE 3 :THE JUDICIAL BRANCH
The Supreme Court interprets (judges) the laws
Made up of 9 Justices led by the Chief Justice
Hears disputes between states and appeals
involving the
Constitution.
Has the power to declare a law unconstitutional
this is called
Judicial Review.
Can Pardon (forgive)

president

Article IV: Congress can admit new states
Article V: Amendments allow the Constitution
to change of the nation changes. Amendments
must be proposed & ratified
Article VI: The Constitution is the Supreme Law
of the Land
Article VII: 9 of 13 states must approve the
Constitution to be the law of the land. All 13
eventually ratified.
