The 96-Month Inspection is one of the two most in-depth inspections on the Legacy 600. It averages approximately 3,300 man-hours and requires special tooling, equipment and knowledge of the airframe to complete successfully.

“Constant Aviation is the only Embraer Authorized Service Center to have completed this many 96-Month Inspections on the Legacy

600. We have been a partner of Embraer since 1998 and have accomplished many firsts on their product line. We were the

first service center, outside of Embraer, to complete a 41,000 foot modification on the airframe. We have also

completed two wing changes and four nose changes. There are many maintenance options, but when

a customer is able to trust our experience and expertise during a maintenance event,

a certain level of comfort is created and fostered.”

Beechjet Center Of ExcellenceWe’ve recently opened our Beechjet Center of Excellence at Cuyahoga County Airport

(KCGF) in Cleveland, OH.

Our Beechjet Center of Excellence has dedicated hangar space to work on the Beechjet airframe. With over 500 Beechjets operating in North America, we thought it was important to offer our customers a dedicated facility for their service needs. Our technicians have accumulated over 500,000 man-hours on the Beechjet airframe and have accomplished significant milestones. Constant Aviation owns both Wi-Fi and interior reconfiguration STCs on the Beechjet and has accomplished multiple upgrades from the Pro Line 4 to the Pro Line 21 system. Recently announced, we have also completed a PMA solution for a reinforced entry step. Our team has completed a wing replacement on the aircraft, as well as numerous inspections, including 55 D Inspections in the past 36 months. Our experience on the airframe and dedication to providing impeccable customer service are what lead operators to bring their aircraft to our Beechjet Center of Excellence.

First Ever Venue SystemInstalled in a LegacyTogether, Constant Aviation and Rockwell Collins collaborated to design a standard seating configuration software package for Constant Aviation. This provides our customers with a fixed cost and baseline on all digital systems that can be expanded when installed on the Legacy 600’s. Since most Legacys have similar seating arrangements, this system reduces costs, lead-times, and provides an exceptional value.

FeaturesRockwell Collins’ Venue system provides passengers with state-of-the-art connectivity via personal devices including smart phones and tablets. The system also creates an extraordinary passenger experience with the integration of high-definition LCD monitors in the forward and aft parts of the cabin. Venue utilizes the latest Cat-5 Ethernet network backbone and puts the entertainment system, lighting, temperature, Airshow, moving map, and galley controls at the passengers’ fingertips with touch screen panels or personal devices.

Over a year ago, we announced an exciting new addition to our safety culture in the creation of the Facility Safety Representatives (FSR’s). These employees volunteered to take on additional duty in guiding, providing and enhancing safety leadership at their sites. They receive extra training at annual Safety Summit events and are available at each location to educate and facilitate resolution for issues related to safety. These FSR’s also conduct regular safety committee meetings as a forum for safety discussions and meet monthly to review company-wide events and projects. The FSR’s are an integral part of our company as they lead our efforts towards a world class safety culture.

Employee Spotlight

As Constant Aviation’s Turboprop and Piston Maintenance Operations Manager, Bill oversees all service and support issues and is available to customers 24/7. Bill has over 35 years of experience in the aviation industry, including technical roles in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, Director of Maintenance for Part 145 Repair Stations and Part 135 Charter Operations, Authorized Service Center Maintenance Manager for New Piper, Cirrus Design and Pratt & Whitney. He also has extensive maintenance experience on Beechcraft turboprop/piston, Cessna 100, 200, 300 & 400 series aircraft, and Piper single/multi-engine propeller and turboprop aircraft.

We welcomed Mark Singer this past August as our AOG Operations Manager based in Orlando, Florida. Mark joins the team with over 20 years of experience in the aviation maintenance industry. He was most recently with Just Jets Services as their Lead Mechanic. Prior to joining Just Jets Services, he held lead and technician positions at Cessna and Flight Options. Mark and his team support AOG needs for our local customers in Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean, as well as the surrounding areas. Mark’s technical experience and focus on service make him a perfect addition to our AOG team.

Constantly Active in the Community

Several members of the CARE Team joined together to participate in a program at the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland. The Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland offers a place to call home at little or no cost so families can access the best health care when they have an ill child. The House enables families to focus on the health of their child rather than anything else – like paying bills, cooking meals, or cleaning the house. The CARE Team participated in the Family Meal Program where groups of eight or fewer volunteers cook on-site meals for families staying at the House. The CARE Team is already scheduled for other cooking experiences in the upcoming year.
