VMware vSphere with P2V Migration Jumpstart

Overview

This consulting engagement provides an on-site proof-of-concept configuration and knowledge transfer of VMware

ESX™ and VMware vCenter™ best practices, as well as

physical to virtual (P2V) migrations using VMware vCenter

Converter. This jumpstart adds physical to virtual migration

activities to the VMware vSphere workshop to maximize

your time and dollars.

•  Customer Project Manager: Plans and coordinates all

 jumpstart-related IT functions

•  Customer Systems Administrator: Responsible for server

hardware, storage, and networking

•  Customer Server Administrator: Responsible for

operating system and applications

VMware Consolidated Backup Add-on A one-day VMware Consolidated Backup (VCB) Add-on is

available to help you better understand and explore

strategies to increase availability and shorten response

times when faced with service disruptions and disasters.
