May is here, and that means AIDS Walk is looming large. AIDS Walk has been one of the agency’s most popular fundraising events for close to two decades, and when you see hundreds of smiling faces in the spring sunshine it’s easy to understand why. Connections thought it would be fun to take a “practice” walk... down memory lane! Here are some photos from past Walks, and we’ll see you at Delaware Park on May 19 as we make some brand new memories at AIDS Walk 2012!

time warp

Th is month a client passed without the case manager having knowledge until af-ter the client was buried. Th is case man-ager had worked with the client for a few years, and understood his intense needs in relation to mental health and substance abuse. Th e case manager never gave up trying to get the client to accept help. He went above and beyond for this client. Not being able to say goodbye is diffi -cult for people; I know this case manager wished to show his respects. I would like to say thank you to that case manager for never giving up, and please know that you always tried and wished the best for your client. Always remember him and even though his death was something you al-ways wished would not happen, continue to help others the same way – you were a blessing in his life.

Sincerely, Bridget McClain
