With an increasing need for more valuable information, combined with greater operating efficiencies, treasurers are seeking alternatives to help them manage their payables and receivables processing. These strategies include greater automation and integration and the move toward industry standard formats such as SWIFT.

WHAT IS SWIFT?

SWIFT is a network that provides the communication infrastructure, products and services to connect more than 10,800 financial banking institutions, securities institutions and corporate customers in more than 200 countries.

SWIFT enables its customers to automate and standardise financial transactions, thereby lowering costs, reducing operational risk and eliminating inefficiencies from their operations1.
