In the Add account screen, tap on Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. 5. On the Add an Exchange account screen, type your Monmouth University email address. 6. Type your Monmouth University password. 7. Put a check in this box if you would like to send email from this account by default. You can always change this later. 8. Tap Next.

Connecting to MU-Secure on a Samsung Galaxy S3 (Android 4.1.1 - Jellybean)

1. While on your Home Screen, tap on

the Menu button. 2. Select System settings from the pop-

up menu that appears. 3. Tap on Add account under the

Accounts heading.

4. In the Add account screen, tap on

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. 5. On the Add an Exchange account

screen, type your Monmouth University email address.

6. Type your Monmouth University password.

7. Put a check in this box if you would like to send email from this account by default. You can always change this later.

8. Tap Next.

You should see the message “Checking auto setup information…” This may take a few minutes. Once the automatic setup finishes, you will see the Account options screen as seen in Step 14. If the auto setup does not automatically discover the server settings, you will need to enter that information manually as seen in Step 9.

9. Type your Domain\Username (such as hawkdom2\mbado or monmouth0\mbado, depending on which domain you are on).

10. Type exchange.monmouth.edu into the Server field.

11. Make sure Use secure connection (SSL) is checked.

12. Tap Next when you’re done.

13. At this point you may be prompted

with the Remote security administration dialogue box. Tap OK.

14. Select your preferences such as how far back to synchronize your email and which items to sync to your phone.

15. Tap Next when you’re done.

16. On the Activate device

administrator screen, tap Activate. 17. You can change the display name of

the account or leave it as the default.

18. Tap Done.

Your Employee Email is now set up. Please allow several minutes for the email to be downloaded to your device.
