    Each year in Pakistan, aggregating just the top fve business schools, wehave more than 2000 business graduates who cannot be accommodated inthe already shrinking industry.

    THE CHALLENGE

    Each year in Pakistan, aggregating just the top fve business schools, wehave more than 2000 business graduates who cannot be accommodatedin the already shrinking industry. In addition, each year universities areetending their !uota o" students to meet the demand "or "orth comingstudents which is on a rise.

     #lthough there are many universities that are providing !uality educationto their enrolled students, there still eists a gap between the theory they learn in theclassroom and what the practical world demands.$he purpose o" graduate education in various disciplines is to prepare students "or careersre!uiring speciali%ed knowledge and skills. &owever, most o" the "ormal education ingraduate school is "ocused on increasing subject area knowledge, in both breadth anddepth, and critical thinking. 'hile these abilities are certainly key to success in jobsre!uiring advanced degrees, there are many other knowledge and skill sets that are notpart o" "ormal graduate training. (tudents, then, must rely on other means to gaineperience in business writing, establishing productive collaborations and networks,interviewing skills, resume writing, pro"essional grooming and business eti!uettes. #s aresult, graduate study only prepares students "or subject matter knowledge and they are

    le"t to "end "or themselves where job seeking is concerned. 

    THE SOLUTION

    Prime&) is launching an initiative to prepare students entering theworld o" work by bridging the theory*practice divide. #"ter care"ulcollaboration with all stakeholders, a meaning"ul program has beendesigned "or students giving them the opportunity to develop theknowledge, attitudes, behaviors and skills re!uired "or success in thecorporate world.Each session is task*"ocused with clear objectives and real conse!uences. $he sessions aredesigned to be o" beneft, providing learning to the students and real world eamples andeperiences which will assist them on their journey into the corporate world.

    $his program addresses two critical needs+* the re!uirement o" corporate "or employable recruits* the need o" young people to increase their employability.
