How are we defining First Mile / Last Mile?
‘First-mile last-mile’ is typically used to describe the
beginning or end of an individual journey to or from a
transport hub or service to the final destination.
Within the Heartland the definition of first-mile and last-
mile represents a wider choice of both traditional and
emerging transport models that enable access to
opportunities and needs.
FM/LM interventions could include
