Connecting iDevices to GCSGuest

iDevice users connecting to GCSGuest for the first time:
The most stable internet browser to use on the GCSGuest network is Google Chrome. In order to install Google Chrome on your device, please access the App Store and select the Chrome App.
Once the Chrome app is installed on your device, you can move on to connecting to the GCSGuest network.

When connecting to the GCSGuest network for the first time, you will need to open your wireless settings and view the available wireless networks. Your setting screen will look something like this:
Select GCSGuest to advance to the next step.

Once connected, you should see a checkmark next to GCSGuest.

Open the Chrome App, and navigate to a website, gcsnc.com, to access to the Guest Portal.
Users may receive an error (example below) when first navigating to a website.
If this error continues, please navigate to 1.1.1.1 in your URL bar.
When you navigate away from the error page, you should be redirected to the Guest Portal page.

Once you have connected to the GCSGuest network, you should automatically be taken to the Guest Portal page.
Please login with the credentials you received when you created your account on the Sponsor Portal page.

You should be prompted to accept the “Acceptable Use Policy.”
Please select “Accept” to continue.

After you have logged in, you will be prompted for a final confirmation to connect to the GCS network.
Please select Continue to proceed.

Once successful, you will get to the GCS Home Page.
You are now connected.

If you need to reference your Wi-Fi MAC address or your IP address, please select the Support link at the bottom of the Guest Portal page. The link is as follows:

Here you will find information about your device such as the MAC Address and the IP Address.

Tips and Tricks
Connection time:• Users will have to authenticate daily with the
user name and password that they received via email or sponsor portal.
Browser errors:
• If you encounter errors while attempting to browse the internet, try clearing your browser cache (history).
Passwords:• If prompted, it is recommended that you allow
your browser to save your password.• Password Change Requirements
• Minimum of 8 Characters • Uppercase• Lowercase• Numeric• No special characters are allowed
