Congruent Triangles

Side-Side-Side (SSS)If 3 sides of a triangle are congruent to 3 sides of another triangle, then the two triangles are congruent.

Side-Angle-Side (SAS)

If 2 sides and the angle in between the two sides of a triangle are congruent to two sides and the angle in between another triangle,then the two triangles are congruent

Angle-Side-Angle (ASA)If two angles and the side in between those two angles are congruent to another triangle’s two angles and the side in between those two angle, then the two triangles are congruent.

Angle-Angle-Side

If two pairs of angles and a pair sides are congruent, then the two triangles are congruent.

Hypotenuse-Leg (HL)

Only works for right triangles

Like the donkey theorem, but works!... only for right triangles

If the hypotenuses are congruent and a pair of legs are congruent, then the two triangles are congruent
