to support St. Peter’s welcoming, inclusive
character to maximize quality opportunities for the
Worship, Formation and Outreach Ministries while
striving towards even greater fulfillment of St.
Peter’s mission and vision in the broader Lewes
Community.

2. Attract people of all ages to ensure a vibrant and sustained future.

includes making all possible accommodation to support inclusiveness.
6. “Sanctuary in the Heart of Lewes” -Chances for quiet reflection amongst the flurry of positive activity.

- Offices - Rectory Reuse? - Possibly use Rectory for offices or other uses if another, close property could be used as the Rectory.

- Large Multipurpose Room (for at least 200
people) for larger events
- Additional Worship Space (for at least 200 people)

- Multi-Purpose/Conference Rooms
- Expanded Choir and Music Department

- Incredible Leadership and Staff
- Willing to entertain new ideas- Love God and love its
neighbors- Sanctuary in the Heart of
Lewes- It feels safe.- Everyone feels special.- Try to make ourselves, our
community and the world a better place.
- Strong music program for internal and a key element of outreach.
- Help those in need.
- A voice for hospitality, justice and mercy in dealing with the larger challenges of the world (homelessness, hunger, etc.)

- Convenient to the larger community but also set apart for rest and respite.
- Listen respectfully to each other.
- Worshiping community whose values grow from common prayer, sacrament and reflection on scripture.

1. Cost – how much money will we have to raise?

3. Will we actually do it.
4. Growing but don’t lose the comforting, safe
feeling that exists.
5. Don’t detract from the historic nature of the
square or of the church.
6. Don’t grow too quickly.
7. “Plant on the verge of being pot bound”
8. Don’t want change.
