Sharing Discs with DVD or CD SharingYoucanenableDVDorCDSharingonaMacorWindowscomputertousetheRemoteDiscfeatureofyourMacmini.RemoteDiscletsyousharethediscsyouinsertintotheopticaldiscdriveoftheothercomputer.Somediscs,suchasDVDmoviesandgamediscs,maybecopy-protectedandthereforeunusablethroughDVDorCDSharing.

Putting Your Mac mini to SleepMacOSXServerisnormallysettopreventyourMacminifromsleepingbecauseuserscan’tconnecttoserviceswhilethecomputersleeps.However,ifitsuitstheservicesyourMacminiisproviding,youcanputittosleepondemandoraccordingtoaschedule.
To put your Mac mini to sleep, do one of the following:Â ChooseApple()>Sleepfromthemenubar.
