No general purpose lanes are taken away to create the second ExpressLane between I-710 and I-605. downtown la bottleneck improvements I-110 Adams/Figueroa Flyover Study The Adams/Figueroa Flyover Study investigates how the construction of a new structure – connecting the I-110 northbound HOV lane o=-ramp directly to Figueroa St – could improve tra;c flow at the end of the I-110 HOV lane. Adams Boulevard Street Widening Construction on Adams Boulevard adds vehicle capacity and improves pedestrian access with the addition of a Pedestrian Bridge between the Harbor Freeway o=-ramp and Flower Street – adding an additional westbound right-turn-only lane to the HOV bypass connecting to Figueroa Street. Re-striping also adds one extra lane to the HOV o=-ramp approaching Adams Boulevard to increase capacity. Transit Priority Signal in Los Angeles This project installs bus-signal priority technology on Figueroa Street between Wilshire Boulevard and Adams Boulevard (15 signals), and Flower Street between Wilshire Boulevard and Olympic Boulevard (5 signals) to enhance transit operations. También extiende el carril existente usado solamente para autobuses en períodos de horas pico de las mañanas en Figueroa St entre 23rd St y 4th St para cubrir el período pico de las tardes.
