    CONCLUSION That conflict, in itself, is not a bad thing. Conflict is anatural and

    healthy process, necessary for making progress anddealing with

    injustice.

    However, the goal should be not to end or eliminateconflict but

    simply to transform the way it is expressed fromdestructive forms

    such as violence, abuse, and intolerance into constructiveforms such

    as debate, dialogue, negotiation, and democracy. Conflictis

    inevitable; violence is not.
