Job Title: Corporate Development Co-ordinatorReports to: Corporate Development Manager Department: DevelopmentContract Type: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: £22,000paLocation: Lilian Baylis House, West Hampstead

PURPOSE OF JOB

To support the Corporate Development Manager in delivering the corporate fundraising strategy, primarily: efficient delivery of contractual partnership (sponsorship and Corporate Membership) benefits via day to day liaison with corporate clients, managing partner events, ticket requests and other benefits. You will also be responsible for securing new Corporate Members, Hospitality Bookers and in-kind sponsorships alongside maintaining account handling and administrative systems, prospect research, developing presentation materials, delivering cultivation events and ensuring the smooth running of a professional corporate development operation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Donor Care & Cultivation

Maintaining account handling systems and assisting the Corporate Development Manager in delivering Corporate Membership and Sponsorship benefits. These will include:

o Regular day to day communication between all corporate supporters and ENO departments (Marketing, Communications, Box Office, Catering, Artistic, ENO Baylis, etc.).

o Organising ticket requests and hospitality, print approvals and onsite and online crediting.

o Organising supporter events, including evening receptions, daytime use of the London Coliseum and experiential events such as tours, talks and workshops.

o Coordinating and minuting regular meetings.o Managing renewals and cross-partner e-newsletters and mailings.o Drafting basic contracts, official correspondence and thank you letters.o Preparing evaluation reports.

Coordinating all corporate and Corporate Advisory Board cultivation events including researching prospect names, compiling guest lists and creating invitations; liaising with Board members and senior management over their contacts; working closely with the Events team to ensure the smooth running of events; welcoming guests and organising follow-up.

Collating evaluation materials including tracking and recording all partnership benefits and keeping accurate hard copy and electronic files of partnership activity for case-studies and evaluation.

Income Generation

Assisting the Corporate Development Manager on timely renewals of corporate members and sponsors including: preparation of evaluation reports and new proposals in advance of contract end-dates, arranging renewal meetings and generating renewal paperwork.

Preparing presentation materials for new business approaches including PowerPoint, Word and InDesign proposals with relevant content including: key Company or project statistics, press cuttings, images, timeframes and partnership benefits.

Procuring new business via identifying, approaching and securing new supporters for ENO’s Corporate Membership, Hospitality and in-kind sponsorship programmes. Achievable targets to be agreed with the Corporate Development Manager.

Research and record keeping

Maintaining accurate and up to date corporate partner and prospect records on SRO and Raiser’s Edge CRM systems and working closely with Database Manager to maximise the most efficient use of Raiser’s Edge for corporate cultivation and data management.

Assisting the Corporate Development Manager on specific research initiatives using relevant publications and online tools. Keeping up to date with corporate news stories and updating changes on CRM systems.

With the Corporate Development Manager, developing and liaising internally to create new elements for inclusion in corporate partnership packages (i.e. new catering menus, workshop experiences, theatre tours or talks).

Working across the team, supporting the Development Director, Head of Trusts, Research and Operations and Individual Giving Team to research and map key overlapping individual and corporate contacts, ensuring accurate data is maintained and contacts are cultivated as appropriate.

Administration

Liaising with the Advisory Board including coordinating meetings, preparing progress reports and prospects lists, arranging tickets and providing administrative support when required.

Maintaining office finance systems including tracking department expenditure, partnership income and expenditure, and invoicing sponsors and Corporate Members.

Working closely with all members of the Development Department and providing support including attending and helping with events, sourcing and delivering auction prizes for fundraising Gala events and assisting with any additional administrative duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Essential Experience in an external relations and administrative role, ideally within fundraising,

events or marketing/PR. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal professionally with people at all levels. Ability to communicate clearly and articulately in writing and verbally, with diplomacy. Exceptional attention to detail. Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel systems. Well organised, efficient, confident and outgoing. Enthusiastic team-worker but able to work independently. Ability to work flexible hours, some evenings, weekends and early mornings.

Desirable Educated to degree level. Interested in and knowledge of performing arts and/or music/opera.

Understanding of fundraising techniques. Experience of relational or CRM databases. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop software.
