Research and observation shows:
PCs, Servers and Laptops at SAP often run idle during working hours and at night,
wasting energy and money.

Maximize corporate energy saving for IT
Auto Shutdown Manager (www.enviprot.com) monitors each PC (Laptops, Workstations and Servers) and automatically puts it into power saving mode after a period of idling, like a screensaver, reducing power consumption per PC up to 99%
Consequently done this can reduce SAP’s direct power consumption for PC’s, Laptops and Servers by up to 80%
Depending on the Saving Mode the PC will consume 1-5W and return to operating state instantly if woken up
