The Young Designers’ paper competition is always a highlight of the Future ofDesign conference. Earlier this year we asked young designers (under 35) tosubmit a one-page paper on any topic to showcase their innovative work orresearch. We had an impressive response with 34 paper entrants. The eightshortlisted entries will give 10-minute presentations based on these papers attoday's conference, on which final judging will be based. A huge thank you to thefollowing people that entered our competition. It was a shame we could onlyselect eight shortlisted papers to present. Thanks must also be given to our judgingpanel Sunil Johal, Angus Low and Chris Jackson.
