The Soccerex Global Convention begins with government dignitaries, business leaders and football legends joining the Soccerex chairman for a series of addresses and awards. It will then be followed immediately by a one-to-one interview with one of the most influential figures in world football.

Senior representatives from official World Cup partners, sponsors and supporters will discuss how they are differentiating themselves pre-event and their respective strategies for engaging with new and old customers during the World Cup.

DAY 1- STUDIO 1TUESDAY 3RD DECEMBER

In this extended session, senior 2014 LOC officials will take to the stage to review the lessons from this summer’s Confederations Cup tournament and provide an update on the latest developments and the remaining challenges ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup. This will be followed by an exclusive interview with the man behind Brazil’s World Cup Law and a discussion with former Brazilianplayers on what the World Cup will mean for football in Brazil

TUESDAY 3RD 11:45 - 13:00 STUDIO 2RUSSIA: SPORT’S BIGGEST EMERGING MARKET UNCOVERED It has been nearly three years since Russia was announced as host of the 2018 FIFA World CupTM, which encouraged another wave of investment into sport from one of the world’s biggest economies. Achieving success at a football club both on and off the pitch is no mean feat. This session will host an exclusive set of past and present Club Presidents and Chairmen, who will come together to debate the challenges of elite football administration and just what is required to run a successful club in today’s football and economic environment.

Here, Soccerex will speak to a selection of footballing legends about the stand out memories from their careers, who they regard as the all time world cup greats and their thoughts on who will shine in Brazil next year.

A panel made up of club officials, players, administrators and sponsors will outline the reasons behind the recent success of the game in Brazil and its rise to the top of world football.

This will include the presentation of The Hoy Park Sports Development Centre, a state of the art complex due to be built in Durban, South Africa which will offer suppliers from across the football spectrum, a fantastic opportunity to engage with the key decision makers from the project.
