Transport Security Expo (TRS) is now in its 12th year ofproviding an unrivalled educational and networking eventfor the global transport security industry.
While each of those dozen years in operation has had their definingincidents in the news, 2014 has been a particularly difficult one foraviation with the two tragic disasters involving Malaysian Airlines. InApril this year Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 from Kuala Lumpur toBeijing went missing over the South China Sea, sparking a hunt forthe missing plane that is still to provide any answers as to the fate of the flight.
Just a few months later in July, Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 fromAmsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was tragically shot down over the Ukraineas it entered airspace around continued fighting between the Ukrainearmy and Russian separatists. This last incident bringing into sharpfocus the dangers of flying over or near conflict areas.
With the support of ADS and an expansion to our conferencingprogramming to keep pace with the evolving industry, this year’s TRSExpo will continue to provide the largest and most credible majorevent in the global transport security industry.
In 2014 we are also delighted to welcomesupport from ADS – the premier tradeorganisation for the UK Aerospace,Defence, Security and Space industries.
