ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
We are very honored to invite you to participate in theSecond
Edition of theInternational ConferenceAgriculture for Life -
Lifefor Agriculture, an eventinitiated by the University
ofAgronomic Sciences andVeterinary Medicine ofBucharest, to be held
inBucharest, Romania, between

and 07thof June 2013.
We live in a time of great challenges for agriculture,including
energy, climate change, the environment, foodsafety and nutrition,
health, rural development and trade.These are challenges not only
for agriculture but also foreducation and agricultural research,
and will not beresolved without major advances in research
andinnovation. Therefore, the University of AgronomicSciences and
Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest aims tocontinue its annual
meetings on life sciences and socialsciences, offering researchers,
business leaders,government and EU officials the opportunity to
share theirinnovative ideas and research results in order
toscientifically address global challenges.
Considering the large impact and enormous interest inthe first
edition of the International ConferenceAgriculture for Life - Life
for Agriculture, we arededicated to continue to provide you,
researchers andprofessionals, with the opportunity to build
newconnections and partnerships by offering a unique insightinto
the most recent agricultural research anddevelopment, and further
promoting the development ofagriculture in the future.
