    William Hill opens betting on College Championship Tournaments in Las Vegas

    LAS VEGAS Championship Week is here. With four automatic NCAA Mens tournament bidsup for grabs over the next six days, for some teams what happens in Vegas could mean the

    start of a run that ends at the Final Four in North Texas. In 2013, 13 teams that played in a Las

    Vegas conference tournament went on to the NCAA Championship Tournament.

    Below are the details on the favorites from each conference (PAC 12, MWC, and WAC) to win

    their tournament and their respective odds to win the NCAA Championship on April 7th

    . Also

    attached is the full list of opening odds for each conference tournament championship.

    PAC 12 Tournament This is the second consecutive year for the PAC 12 to crown a champion

    in Las Vegas. In 2013, five teams from the PAC 12 made their way into the NCAA Tournament.Regular Season PAC 12 Champions Arizona opened as the favorite at +110. Other opening

    notables are UCLA (4/1), Oregon (7/1), Arizona State (10/1), and Cal (10/1).

    With regards to going on and winning the 2014 NCAA Tournament Championship, future odds

    for select PAC 12 teams are as follows: Arizona (9/1), UCLA (30/1), Oregon (150/1), Arizona

    State (200/1), Cal (200/1), and Stanford (300/1).

    Mountain West Tournament 2014 marks the 12th time that Las Vegas has hosted the MWC

    Championship since 2000. In 2013, five teams from the MWC danced into the NCAA

    Tournament. San Diego State and New Mexico opened as the tournament co-favorites with

    each at +180. UNLV opened at 17/5 and Nevada opened at 12/1 to win the MWC tournament

    in their home state.

    With regards to going on and winning the 2014 NCAA Tournament Championship, future odds

    for the top MWC teams are as follows: San Diego State (28/1), New Mexico (100/1), and UNLV

    (500/1).

    WAC Tournament The WAC returns to Las Vegas for a fourth consecutive year. In 2013, only

    one team from the WAC (New Mexico State) went on to the NCAA Tournament. NMSU

    opened as the favorite at -300 and Regular Season WAC Champion Utah Valley opened at 7/2.

    All WAC teams are currently listed in the Field (55/1) option with regards to going on andwinning the 2014 NCAA Tournament Championship.
