ABOUT THE TUTOR

Jill has been embroidering and quilting

since the late 80s and is experienced in

a wide range of techniques. A tutor since

2011, in both embroidery and patchwork,

Jill likes to explore new ideas in both

stitch and construction. She loves to

share her passion for pattern and colour,

and loves encouraging students

to try something new.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOPWe all know that needlebooks are a handy thing to have, so I decided to create my own original version. I have long been fascinated with Aztec stitch and so have used this on the linen cover. There will be a few variations of the Aztec stitch for students to choose from. There are 8 pages in the book, with wool felt for needles opposite a page showing the needle sizes and uses.Students will be provided information to help with choosing linen fabric,

threads and wool felt and will be required to post me a fat quarter of fabric

so that the printing can be completed prior to class.
