Barsaz Rooydad Pars Co. (BRP( organizes specialized exhibitions in Mashhad, Shiraz and

Tehran. The focus of this company in organizing exhibitions is developing non-oil exports,

providing a suitable platform for exchanging the latest achievements and technologies and

providing an opportunity for domestic and international companies to develop their business in

Iran.

The International Exhibition of Food and Food Processing (iFood) is one of the specialized

exhibitions organized by BRP company. The standard organization of this exhibition, attendance

of reputable domestic and international companies and holding events like seminars and

workshops has made this exhibition one of the greatest exhibitions of this industry in Iran which

is held annually in Mashhad and Shiraz.

The International Food and Food Processing Exhibition(iFood) was held from 13th to 16th of

February in Fars International Permanent Fairground with the attendance of companies,

manufacturers and expert domestic and international visitors.

It should be noted that more than 4000 expert domestic and international visitors attended this

exhibition and 85 reputable domestic and international companies participated in this event.

1.1 Fars Provincial Government:

Fars Provincial Government supported this exhibition by holding meetings, cooperating and

coordinating. Announcing this event to different organizations and unions and assessing the

present requirements of Fars province food industry in order to invite companies to participate in

this exhibition were examples of this cooperation.

1.2. Fars Province Agricultural Jihad Organization:

By announcing this event to Agricultural Jihad units in cities of Fars province, this organization

has played a major role in promoting iFood. In addition, television broadcast and promotion

through social media channels and websites of the organization are some examples of this

organization activities.

1.3. Fars Province Industry, Mine and Trade Organization

This organization has become one of the supporters of iFood exhibitions last year and collaborated

with this exhibition by announcing this event to all the Industry, Mine and Trade Organizations of

the country, inviting officials, uploading the event details on their website and sharing them on

their Telegram channels.

1.4. Fars Industrial Estates Company

This company has collaborated with iFood by announcing the event to industrial Estates of all

provinces of the country and their related units and uploading the event details on their website

and Telegram channels.

1.5: Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Fars province

This representative supported this event by announcing it to representatives, trade counsellors of

Islamic Republic of Iran in regional countries. Visit of trade delegations and participation of

international companies were some of achievements of this collaboration.

1.6: Shiraz Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture

This chamber has supported this exhibition by announcing this event to related units and uploading

exhibition details on their website and social media channels.

1.7 Communicating with related ministries:

Announcing, corresponding, and inviting officials were examples of the supportive actions of

Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and also Ministry of Agriculture Jihad.

1.8 Associations and Organizations and Related Unions:

Correspondence with more than 30 related food unions and associations around the country,

correspondence with chamber of guilds, Iran chamber of cooperatives, Vice-Chancellor in Food

and Drugs Affairs in Fars, Isfahan, Yazd, Kerman, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Kohgiluyeh and

Boyer-Ahmad, Hormozgan, Bushehr, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Hamadan and Markazi were examples

of measures taken for this exhibition.

2. Attendance in Fars Province Specialized Food and Pharmaceutical Forum

Direct negotiations with active food factories all over the country and inviting them to visit and

participating in the exhibition is one of the other measures taken by BRP company.

Attracting participants in this exhibition was as follows:

A) Domestic Participants:

Machinery section (food products, packaging): 49 companies active in the field of food

industry participated in this exhibition and exhibited their products and services in two

specialized food machinery halls.

Food Products and Industries Section: In this exhibition, 36 companies active in the

field of food manufacturing exhibited their products and services in one specialized

food hall (Sarv Hall).

Domestic Unions and Associations: Since supporting domestic production and industry

is one of our purposes in this exhibition, we hosted Agriculture-Jihad and International

Commerce Development Organization- Halalworld.

Participation of two companies from Italy and India were significant achievements of this

exhibition; it is hoped that with suitable organization, the number of participants increase

in the upcoming editions.

Expert Visitors (Domestic and International)

Expert Visitors:

Participation of branded companies, food and food machinery manufacturing companies

and international companies has put the focus of this exhibition on attracting expert

visitors.

Therefore, the domestic and international expert visitors became our target population. In

order to attract domestic visitors, we collaborated with organizations, unions and

associations and also invitation letters were sent to chambers of guilds, agricultural Jihad

Organizations, Industry, Mine and Trade Organizations, Vice-Chancellor in Foods and

Drugs Affairs, Chambers of Commerce and Industrial Estates Company and other

provincial and non-provincial experts.

In addition, 4000 International and domestic visitors visited this exhibition including

traders and manufacturers from Afghanistan, Iraq and Azerbaijan.

One of the tools for an exhibition success is advertising and promotion. Considering this

fact, BRP Co, started promotion and advertising a few months before the exhibition date,

which some examples are mentioned here:

1.Widespread promotion and advertising through social medias

2. Television advertisements in Shiraz city televisions

3. Sending more than 18000 SMS to food industry experts to invite them to visit or

participate in this exhibition.

4. Posting VIP invitation cards to related associations and organizations like Agricultural

Jihad Organization, Industry, Mine and Trade Organization and etc.

5. Posting VIP expert visitors badges to related unions and associations in Fars Province

and other neighboring provinces
