MATH MADNESS AT CONCORDIA

Concordia students not only have the good looks but also the brains! This year’s Hanoi Math Olympiad was a great test of Concordia students’ intellect as our school sent fifteen students from grades 6-9 to compete against over 100 other students from around the region. This was a chance to work as a team as well as individuals and our students came out on top, bringing home a slew of medals to show for their hard work. All the Concordia ‘mathletes’ placed in their respective competitions with Michelle Frerking, Victoria Atria , Rebecca Yang , YeBin Kim and Gracie Byun bringing home the1st place gold at the middle school level.

Well done students and we look forward to next year’s Olympiad!

NEW CAMPUS CELEBRATION

PURPOSE BUILT FACILITY COMING IN JANAURY 2016

Exciting times in Hanoi- Concordia has started on our new purpose-built campus in Van Tri and we had a great celebration to commemorate it! Welcome guests from our sisters schools, Concordia Shanghai and Hong Kong International School, were present as well as a wonderful group of LCMS delegates from all over the globe, including St. Louis.

Students had a chance to help “break ground” alongside our guests and the upper school students had their first taste of putting on the Van Tri greens. Golf and cross-country will be fantastic new additions to our Concordia after school programs when the campus opens.

The new campus will come complete with athletic, art and science facilities. The new location will also help connect Concordia to the expat West Lake area via the Nhat Tan Bridge.
