SEE US! HEAR US! Welcome to our 2017 concert season! Trianon enjoys bringing a variety of music to audiences and performing at venues around Suffolk. This year our January and September concerts are at the Ipswich Corn Exchange and in April we return to St John’s Church in Ipswich, one of our favourite venues. Trianon’s concerts in local communities feature smaller groups of instrumentalists and singers. These concerts raise money for local charities or projects and this year our members visit Sproughton, Felixstowe, Charsfield and Needham Market. We’d love to see you there! TRIANON AT ST JOHN’SConducted by Adrian Brown

Sponsored by the Friends of TrianonHubert Parry is HRH Prince Charles’ favourite composer and best known for Jerusalem and the stirring opening of Blest Pair of Sirens evokes the essence of Parry’s “Englishness”. This is a programme of contrasts with Mendelssohn’s final major symphony programmed to mark the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation started by Martin Luther in 1517.Puccini’s Messa di Gloria is a rare venture by the Italian into church music and there are many hints of the operatic featured in the work.Hubert Parry Blest Pair Of Sirens Mendelssohn Symphony No 5 In D, Op107
