Per County of San Diego Zoning Code:
Section 6263 FREESTANDING SIGNS:Subsection a. Number Permitted
1. Premises having a minimum of 50 feet of frontage may be permitted one freestanding sign for each street frontage. Premises having a frontage of 250 feet or more along the same street may have one additional freestanding sign . . .
2. Where two (2) freestanding signs are permitted on a frontage the allowable area may be combined into one sign, provided the area does not exceed a maximum are of 200 square feet.
Subsection b. Area 1. The area of a freestanding sing shall not exceed 1.25 square feet for each linear foot of street frontage, provided the area does not exceed 175 square feet . . .Subsection c. Height 1. A freestanding sign shall not exceed a height measured from the ground of:

Project proposes a single face freestanding ground sign integrated into landscape trellis element on each corner of the driveways in lieu of a single double face sign at each driveway. Site is over 250 linear feet and is thus allowed two double faced ground signs. Height of signage and integrated trellis structure shall be limited to 13’-10”.Fuel Pricing Sign is required by and regulated by California Business and Professional Code Division 5, Chapters 14 and 15 and the California Code of Regulations, Title 4, Division 9, Chapter 6, 7, and 8.Fuel Pricing Sign is double sided to be visible from the street in each direction as required by code. Pricing for all types of fuel are listed as well as method of payment. Signage shall be front lit with no internal illumination. Sign shall be integrated into the landscape trellis element with use of similar materials and color. Sign height is limited to 5’ high with 40 sf maximum sign area.
