COMPANY HISTORY & OVERVIEW: Conas Trading Engineering is an Engineering company in valve reconditioning ser-vices, which includes the repair of manual, safety, actuated control valves, Pumps and Plant Maintenance.
Conas Trading Engineering cc was formed in 2008 by Mr. Jonas Lehoko who is a qual-ified Mechanical Fitter and Mr Bethuel Lehoko who is more than 30 years’ experience as Valve Fitter primarily to recondition valves, Pumps and Plant Maintenance. Since then through growth, acquisitions and strategic alliances has become a supplier of both recon-ditioned valves and new valves.
Total Valve Management has now become a major activity of Conas through their Fugi-tive Emission Reduction program and related valve management systems; these allow a scientific approach to valve maintenance. Our quality work is carried out at certified re-pair centres, as well as on site based on our customers' needs. We are committed to ensur-ing that our customers achieve optimum mean time between failures (MTBF), and mini-mising the total cost of ownership
BUSINESS PHILOSOPHY: Conas Trading Engineering subscribe to the concept and principles as contained within the "Abundance Theory" and trades in all aspects. In principle, it is the view of the co-opt members and management that there is "more than enough to go around" and that everyone must be allowed to contribute in the wealth creation potential that is to be de-rived from the process of redeveloping Africa in general and South Africa in particular.
Accordingly, the co-operative utilizes a business model that focuses on "co-operation" rather than "competition" and strives to create an environment that promotes wellbeing of the majority. Whilst this view may at times have served to constrain the co-opt. in its business endeavors and transactions, it is the principle basing the success of any co-opt.
This philosophy is reflected in the cc structure and the Business and Network Partner-ships that it has engaged in and continues to do.
INNOVATION FROM WITHIN CREATES A BETTER TOMMORROW
