IntroductionComputer Juice Kontrol S4 Mapping

The objective of the Computer Juice Kontrol S4 mapping is to create an intuitive and simple to use control system updated for Traktor Pro 2.6.1 allowing you to focus on the controlling the instead of finding the controls.

Featuring: Optimized for Master Tempo control, 4 deck control, Z-ISO EQ and 4 effects banks Transport and loop controls for all four decks always available without needing to

“switch modes” Intuitive loop and beat jumping controls including move, shorten, loop backward Jog Wheel FX control with inbuilt presets for gater/lofi, Jet (simulates the pioneer

mixer jet effect), gater, beatmasher, peak, and delay, iceverb, reverb– sounds great every time!

Simple to use controls for Master Tempo, 4 Band EQ, Deck filter on-off, Deck FX 1,2,3,&4 on/off, Deck Copy, Browse mode, FX 1&2 Select, scratch, deck load, and deck delay freeze

Access to the majority of Traktor functions such as phase sync, deck pitch, hot cues, loop recorder, gain, samples, Deck X-fader Assign & curve, through easy to access smart shift controls

Deck layout follows screen layout and LED indicators for all functions Programmed using the NHL protocol

Detail Left Side - 1

1. Shift Controls – these control to perform alternative functions on each control (same as right side) 1a) – Main Shift (Shift) 1b) – Shift 1 (S1) 1c) – Shift 2 (S2)

2. Transport Controls 2a) – Deck A

▪ (Default) - Sync, Cue, CUP▪ (Shift ) - Phase Sync, Drop Cue Point, Play

2b) – Deck C▪ (Default) - Sync, Cue, CUP▪ (Shift)- Phase Sync, Drop Cue Point, Play

3. Freeze Control Applies to deck A or C depending on if DECK C button (6) is activated (Default) - While button held, direct turns on Effect unit 4 , selects delay, delay on and

freeze button (Shift) - As above, but toggles the freeze effect and has longer freeze tail

4. Beat-jump / (s) Sample Applies to deck A or C depending on if DECK C button (6) is activated (Default) - Back 4, Back 1, Fwd 1, Fwd 4 (Shift) - Activate/pause Samples 1-4 on Deck C (when deck c in sample mode)

5. Hot Cue Mode (S1/S2) Applies to deck A or C depending on if DECK C button (6) is activated Top row (S1) - Jump to Hot cue 5,6,7,8. Middle row (S1) - Jump to Hot cue 1,2,3,4 Both rows (S2) - Delete selected hot cue

6. Activate Deck C Mode Applies certain controls to Deck C if DECK C button (6) is activated (LED ON) for the

following functions: Beat-jump, Scratch with Jog Wheel, Deck Pitch Fader, Hot Cue Jump, Deck Freeze

7. Loop Controls – these control loop functions for each deck Inner right continuous push down knob controls Deck A

▪ (Default) – Rotate will select loop size, Push Down will set loop of selected size▪ (Shift/s1/s2) – Move set loop back or forward by loop size (shift) or 1 beat (s1) or 4 beats

(s2) Inner right button – Sets loop on deck A

▪ (Default) – Sets and activates 4 bar loop ▪ (Shift) – Activates / deactivates loop▪ (S1) – Sets and activates 4 bar loop backwards

11. Effect Unit 1 Control, Layout Select, Favorites Browse, Hold Mode (Default) – Knobs 1-4: Effect Unit 1 control in Group Mode. (Default) - Buttons 1,2,3 operate in hold down mode, unless “HOLD” button is activated

which selects toggle instead. (Default) - Far left button scrolls through the different Traktor screen layouts (S1/S2) – Far left button moves up and down through favorites playlist
