CADManage call records from multiple agencies across multiple jurisdictions with Spillman’s CAD module. Real-time call updates, unit responses, and automatic alerts on wanted or missing persons are immediately accessible. You can operate the system directly from the command line or use a mouse to navigate through the software, and color-code calls based on their priority or status. The core CAD system includes geo-verification, recommended units, water resources, wrecker rotation, special instructions, demographic information tracking and several other components at no additional charge.

CAD MappingDisplay visual information about an area, including street names, major buildings, landmarks, police districts, and fire/EMS zones on a map. The application allows your agency to dispatch a unit to a call directly from the map by dragging and dropping the unit’s symbol over the call symbol. In addition, layers can be added to the map for multiple agency configurations. Integration between CAD Mapping and the AVL Mapping module also enables you to calculate the actual drive time to reach a call by examining your local street network and accounting for barriers such as rivers, canyons, and limited-access highways.

E-911 InterfaceReceive ANI/ALI data from a standard E-911 system and automatically transmit the information to the Spillman Computer-Aided Dispatch system. Used in conjunction with the CAD and CAD Mapping modules, the interface enables you to view real-time locations of both wireless and landline calls on a map. The interface is compliant with the FCC’s Phase I and Phase II regulations, enabling agencies to more precisely locate a wireless caller.

Alarm Tracking & BillingTrack false alarms, manage alarm tracking fees, input false alarm incident numbers, and quickly generate tickets and letters. You can also create reports such as false alarm counts, revenue totals, and alarm activation totals.

AVL MappingLocate all fleet units through the use of Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers (not included). The AVL Mapping module receives location data from a GPS receiver, allowing dispatchers to recommend and select the unit that can respond fastest. In addition, field personnel can view the quickest route to a call on the CAD map along with driving directions from their current locations. By linking with the Google Earth™ mapping service, users can replay patrol vehicle routes on a Google Earth map, enabling them to easily review pursuits or evaluate police routes.

Response PlansDefine which agencies and units will respond to a law, fire, or EMS call for a specified alarm level. Through integration with the Equipment and Premises & HazMat modules, you can prepare well-defined response plans that include

personnel and resource recommendations, instructions, and guidelines for any call type or location.

Premises & HazMatRecord data on residential, commercial, or public lots throughout your jurisdiction. This information is an invaluable resource for emergency and law enforcement personnel when responding to disasters or calls at unfamiliar or highly populated sites. Personnel can also view data from chemical and national hazardous materials databases.

Rip-n-RunSend an automatic report of call details to responding units. Rip-n-Run gathers information from the CAD screen, such as address, nature of call, contact name, and priority, and sends it to a printer at the responding agency. Personnel can “rip” the information off the printer as they “run” to the call.

State LinkEnhance the range of information in your database with a direct connection to state and national databases. Quickly search real-time data for wanted persons, driver’s license information, vehicle registration, stolen vehicles, and missing persons.

2. Visual AlertsThe CAD status screen provides you with visual alerts shown in red. For example, if the time lapse is too great from when a call is received to when it is dispatched, you will be able to quickly identify and prioritize the call.

3. Unit StatusThe unit status screen allows you to see an overview of the available units, the unit’s responsible zone, the length of time the unit has remained at its current status, and the unit status (on duty, en route, or arrived at the call).

4. Received/Dispatched CallsThe top status screen displays all calls that have been received and are waiting to be dispatched, while the bottom status screen shows the calls that have already been dispatched. Within each window, you can sort columns to fit individual preferences.

1. Command Center The command center enables you to manage open screens, enter CAD commands directly from the command line, and use shortcut icons to access frequently used screens.

police CADSpillman helps keep police officers safe by alerting dispatchers when an officer has been at one location for longer than a pre-determined amount of time. Agencies can decrease response time with Spillman’s CAD Mapping module. With integrated CAD Mapping and AVL, dispatchers see incidents and police units on a map with live call updates appearing as the call progresses. Searchable access to state and National Crime Information Center (NCIC) databases is an integral part of adding a call, significantly reducing keystrokes.

fire CADFire departments benefit from Spillman’s unique Fire CAD solutions, such as the ability to store and retrieve information about premises, including a list of hazardous materials stored on site, a building floor plan, and occupancy information. When faced with an emergency, fire personnel and equipment are automatically recommended based on the location, type, severity, and time of the incident. Using Spillman’s Response Plans module, fire departments can create and store response plans tailored to specific emergency situations.

EMS CADSpillman’s dispatch solutions help Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agencies respond efficiently. Dispatchers can use Spillman software to relay pre-arrival instructions about a victim’s condition to responders. The ProQA Interface saves EMS agencies valuable time by enabling users to populate medical call data into the appropriate CAD records and integrate CAD data into ProQA fields. Integration between the E-911 Interface and Spillman’s mobile AVL Mapping module provides turn-by-turn directions for responding emergency units.

Spillman’s dispatch solutions use a modular approach, enabling you to customize a system that fits your agency’s

needs. Through the power of Spillman integration, the CAD system provides dispatchers immediate access to

critical system data, helps ensure data accuracy, and facilitates communication with field personnel.
