How to turn ON a computer?

1. Press the “Power” button of the CPU2. Press the “Power” button of the monitor.3. Wait for the computer to load4. Log in, if needed

How to turn OFF a computer?

1. Save & close all your programs

2. Press on “Start” button,

3. Click the Power button

4. Click “Turn off” or Choose “Shut down” and click OK

5. Press the Power button of the monitor and the CPU

How to OPEN programs?

• Click on the icon on the desktop

OR

• Go to start > programs

How to CLOSE programs?

1. Click on FILE2. Click on CLOSE/EXIT

How to CREATE a word document?

1. Open the Microsoft Word program2. Click NEW

How to SAVE a word document?

1. Click File2. Click Save3. Choose where to save the document
