Computational Biology: Student International Research Experience

Abstract: In January 2018, a group of ten students from the University of La Verne visited the International Rice Research Institute. Why did they go to the Philippines? What did they learn? Are they going to go again to similar trips? What is the optimal composition of the team? We will discuss how to arrange such trips so they are educational and fun.
