Functional principle

The pneumohydraulic drives from TOX® PRESSOTECHNIK are known worldwide under the name TOX®-Powerpackage. They are energy saving pneumatic cylinders with an integrated oil system and automatically activated power stroke. The tech-nology combines pneumatics and hydraulics to the customer’s advantage.

The range of devices provides press forces between 2 and 2000 kN, power strokes up to 200 mm and total strokes up to 400 mm.

TOX®-ElectricDriveModular Servo Press Drives up to 1000 kN

The TOX®-ElectricDrive family provides the right press drive solution. The press drives can be used for a wide range of applications by using ball screws or planetary roller screws.

The drives offer simple parameterization, control, operation, monitoring and documentation of the process. Stand-alone operation is possible without a PC or PLC.

TOX®-Clinching Tools(punches and dies)

TOX®-ClinchingRiveting without rivets

A simple joining technology without additional elements and without heat! The sheet metals to be joined are pressed into a die by a punch causing plastic deformation. The clinch point is created by the special design of the die, which joins the sheet metals together by forming and locking them permanently.

Based on its cost efficiency and reliability, TOX®-Clinching is used throughout the entire sheet-metal working industry.

ClinchRivet®

The combination of clinching and riveting: A simple, symmetrical ClinchRivet® is used as joining ele-ment for a connection. It is pressed into the sheet layers and forms a high-strength clinch connection with-out cutting. This procedure is ideal for joining thin sheets.

Semi-hollow punch rivet

Semi-hollow punch rivets are ideally suited for the joining of different ma-terials. The first layer is punched, and the rivet creates an undercut in the second layer. These rivets are mostly used in body-shells and car components.

Solid punch rivet

Riveting with solid punch rivet - punching and joining in one step. The rivet cuts through both sheet layers and deforms the die side sheet metal forming a permanent connection.This technique often resolves issues for high-strength connections, difficult material combinations and large vari-ations in thickness.

Fastener Insertion Technology

In many industries, components require installation of elements such as nuts, bolts, screws etc. Most of these so-called functional elements can be installed into workpieces by means of pressing, punching, riveting or clinching processes.
