The best invention ever is the iPhone. Since the day I bought my iPhone, my life has changed for the better. Whatever I can imagine, I can do with my phone. Just the other day I was totally lost; I could not find the mall! As I sat at a red light trying to figure out what to do next, I realized my iPhone had a GPS. I can also text, email, check Facebook, Google anything, and make appointments on my calendar. The possibilities are absolutely endless. I honestly don’t know how I lived before my iPhone!

My favorite vacation ever was my family’s trip to the Grand Canyon. Since the moment my dad announced where we were going that summer, I was thrilled. Every picture I have seen of the Grand Canyon showed breathtaking scenery. I was not disappointed after we arrived. Even though it was a little bit scary standing on the edge looking at that huge drop, I loved every moment of it. We were also able to ride mules down to the canyon floor and spend two nights camping by the river. What an incredible experience!

The best invention ever is the Amazon Kindle. Since the day my Kindle arrived, I have been able to download any book I want without ever leaving the comfort of my own home. All the latest releases are just a click away. I could have been waiting in line at Barnes & Noble; however, I was sitting on my couch reading my book! As I read about the exploits of my favorite literary character, I thought about how incredible this invention is. I can also order newspapers, magazines, and blogs on my Kindle if I want them. Technology is incredible!!!

My family just got a new puppy. Because I was the one who wanted the dog, I was put in charge of taking care it. This was much harder than I thought it was going to be. The puppy required constant attention and care. After several days of continuous walks and training, Buster was potty trained. This made everyone in my house happy since no one liked cleaning up “accidents.” It is wonderful having a pet. He greets me at the door whenever I get home and cuddles with me when I go to bed

at night. I love my new puppy.
