Weekly reports (Initial Information Report, 6 Activity Reports, 1 Mid Evaluation Form, and 1 Final Evaluation Report) have to be submitted to the faculty mentor. These reports are to be enclosed duly signed by faculty mentor in your final internship report.Guidelines for weekly report:On the job trainingStudents are required to submit a weekly report to mentors in the attached format. The weekly report should be based on the work activity assigned to them by the industry mentors every week. For example database compilation, territory mapping, competitors analysis, CV short listing, ratio analysis, working capital management, comparative analysis of financial institutions etc. Each trainee is expected to list down the weekly activity assigned, status of the activity done and learning from the activity.Research ProjectStudents are required to submit a weekly report to mentors in the attached format. The weekly report should be based on the work activity assigned to them by the industry/Faculty mentors every week. For example week one and two: Industry Overview & Company Profile. Third Week: Literature Review. Fourth Week: Questionnaire Design and Finalization. Fifth & Sixth Week: Data Analysis. Seventh and Eight Week: Report Writing. Note: Above activities and corresponding weeks are indicative only. These may be altered as per the discussion with industry and faculty mentor.ii. A minimum contact of at least once in a week to be maintained with faculty guides & report on the progress of your project, take guidance, share issues / concerns etc.

iii. Student need to make 3 copies of their Report, one for submission to college, one for submission to company (to Industry mentor), and the other one will be your own copy. The students have to get each page of the Project Report signed by their respective faculty mentor.

iv. Soft copy of the Executive Summary and Cover page should be forwarded to CRC at [email protected] mentioning SIP_Name_Roll Number in subject line

v. Number the pages as mentioned in the table of content & give footnotes, wherever applicable. vi. The impression on the typed copies should be black in colour. vii. Number of pages 60-70viii. Maintain uniformity in font size & font type. One and a half spacing should be used for typing the general text. The general text shall be typed in the Font style Times New Roman and Font size 14.ix. The dimension of the report should be in A4 size. The report should be hard bound using black cover of thick material. The cover should be printed in golden color letters and the text for printing should be identical.

x. A specimen copy of the Cover page & Declaration Certificate of the report is attached.

xi. A copy of duly filled Mid-Evaluation Form & Final Evaluation Form to be attached with the report in the Annexure after approval from the Faculty Mentor.

xii. As part of Final Evaluation Process upon completion of SIP, the student will have to make Power-Point Presentation during viva.(Further details related to ppt will be notified separately).

xiii. During Final Evaluation Process, each student is required to carry a Resume in prescribed format after getting it approved & signed by their respective faculty mentor & CSD mentor. (The format of Resume of will be shared separately).

xiv. Certificate from the company shall be in double line spacing using Font Style Times New Roman and Font Size 14. The certificate shall carry the supervisors signature and shall be followed by the supervisors name, designation, department and full address of the organization. Certificate should be in the company letter head.

xv. Executive Summary should be one page of the report typed 1.15 line spacing, Font Style Times New Roman and Font Size 14. A booklet containing all the executive summaries will be printed and distributed to corporate and delegates who come to NDIM on various occasions.

xvi. Table of Contents should list all material following it as well as any material which precedes it. The title page, Declaration & Certificate will not find a place among the items listed in the Table of Contents.

xvii. Appendices are provided to give supplementary information, which is included in main text & should be numbered using Arabic numerals, e.g. Appendix 1, Appendix 2, etc.

xviii. The reference material should be listed in the APA style of referencing:

Summer Training Calendar Scheduled Duration: 4th May 2015 to 4th July 2015 Submission of Initial Information Report (IIR) : within a week from date of start of training. Weekly Reports (6 No.) Submission of Mid Evaluation Report (MER): 4th weekend from the start of training or 4th June 2015, whichever is earlier. Submission of Final Evaluation Form to faculty mentor: 8 weeks/ 2months from the start of training or 6th July 2015, whichever is earlier. Submission of FAQ Form (Q.1 Q.4 with Mid-Evaluation Form & Q.5-Q.8 with Final Evaluation Form). Discussion / Guidance from faculty Mentor: 6th July 2015 to 11th July 2015. Submission of Final Report: 13th July 2015 Marks Distribution In SIP (TOTAL 200) Mid Evaluation Form will carry 30 marks25 marks to be given by the Industry mentor (10 + 15)5 marks will be given by the Faculty Mentor

6 weekly reports will carry 3 marks each (6*3=18) FAQs for Recruiter Form will carry 6 Marks (First 4 answers to be sent with Mid-Evaluation Form & rest 4 answers with Final Evaluation Form). This form has to be submitted separately to the faculty mentor & not to be attached in Project Report. If you are able to crack a PPO / PPI (pre placement offer / pre placement interview), you get 6 marks. CSD Evaluation (50 Marks): This would be done for all the students irrespective of the results of previous evaluation. Details will be notified separately

FINAL EVALUATION (60 Marks) Through ppt & viva-voce (The ppt format will be mailed separately) 20 marks for Report concept clarity and quality 20 marks for Performance in Viva Voce 10 marks for Clarity of Expression (5 for Verbal Comm., 5 for Presentation skills) 10 marks for Effectiveness of Recommendations given to the Board of Directors of CompanyCover Page
