Complete Sentences
1. A complete sentence tells a complete thought and has both a subject and a predicate.•My class sold many boxes of

Fragments

Run-on Sentences
3. A run-on sentence is two or more complete sentences that run together.• A tornado can be called a

Comma Splices

Three Ways to Correct a Run-on Sentence
• There are three ways to correct a run-on sentence.
