Harsimron S Sandhu -Promoter and chief executive, India InfoMedia Harsimron is one of the well-known names in the field of perception management practice in India.
Over the years, facing critical situations, some of the leading blue-chip and transnational companies like
Reliance, Citibank, Apollo Tyres among others, have relied on his strategic counsel for a range of issues.
He has used structured media strategy as one of the most potent media-tools to successfully change
perceptions of critical stakeholders. He headed the Public Relations function of Punjab Agro Industries
Corporation (Pepsi's JV Partner during the time it entered India). A six-year intense association with
Pepsi, as the multinational was battling for a toehold in India, sharpened Harsimron's skills in issue
management. It were these skills which he leveraged success-fully first as director and head of the
resource centre at Indian Public Affairs Network (PR wing of India's largest advertising conglomerate,
JWT) and then as chief executive of India InfoMedia. Harsimron has successfully handled strategic
communications during board-room crisis; modulation of government policy in sensitive industries like
Alco-Bev and Tobacco.
Mr Kapil Channa - Chief Advisor, Government Relations, India InfoMedia
Founder and Managing Director – Kapil Channa Consultants (KCC) With over 35 years of experience in corporate affairs, Kapil has spearheaded government relations
operations for various business entities. Kapil joined Shaw Wallace as a management trainee in 1968 and
gradually moved up the corporate ladder owing to his skill in forging win-win equations with diverse
stakeholders. All this while he played a substantial role in handling government relations for various
companies of the Jumbo Group such as Dunlop, Mather&Platt. He was appointed the President,
Corporate Affairs in Shaw Wallace and was also honoured with the ‘Shaw Wallace Lifetime
Achievement Award. In 2005 he left Shaw Wallace to lay the foundation of KCC. A keen golfer and
member of the General Committee of the prestigious Delhi Golf Club, Kapil was elected the Captain of
the Delhi Golf Club in 2012 for a two-year term.
Mr Mahesh Mahajan - Advisor Business Development, India InfoMedia A seasoned professional, Mahesh has worked in sectors including IT/OA Industry, Hardware and
Software and FMCG. An alumnus of IIM Kolkata he has been associated with acclaimed Corporates like
TCS, HCL, etc. handling responsibilities associated with Marketing, Sales Management, Relationship
Management, HRD and Business Development. Throughout his career, he has had the opportunity to
work in varied locations in both India and Overseas. Following an illustrious stint at TCS where he was
Vice President and Head product Alliances Group until 2007, Mahesh joined HCL as Head-Corporate
Strategy. While with TCS, he managed Business Relationships with all IT majors including IBM, Oracle,
Sun Microsystems, Microsoft, BEA, Citirx and HP among others. Mahesh was a member of the IBM
Global Business partner council in TCS. In 2006, he was bestowed with the Lifetime Achievement
Award by Oracle. He has been associated with India InfoMedia as Advisor Business Development since
2016.
