    SHOW RULES 1. All disputes not covered by the Societys Rules and Regulations will be settled by the Com-mittee and their decision will be final, without any appeal to law. 2. No stock or exhibit can be admitted for competition unless an entry form, properly complet-ed and signed, together with the correct entry fees, has been received by the Secretary, on or before the time specified in the Schedule. Should a false declaration be made, the Exhibitor shall forfeit all prizes and be prohibited from exhibiting at any future Show of the Society. 3. All stock and exhibits shown for prizes at the Show must be the property of the Exhibitor, and must have been in their ownership for not less than one lunar month previous to the date of the show. 5. In all cases prizes will be awarded at the Judges discretion. 6. Each animal must be in the charge of one person, and no person will be allowed to remove any animal from its stand or cage during the time the Show is open, except by permission of the Chief Steward of the Section. 7. When any conditions apply to the winning of a prize, such prize will not be handed over until such conditions have been fulfilled, and where necessary proof of this has been produced to the Society. 8. Stock and other exhibits must arrive on the Show Ground at the times set out under the re-spective sections. 9. Notice of objection, together with deposit of 5, must be made in writing and lodged with the General Secretary. No objections will be entertained after the Show is closed. Where an objection fails the deposit will be forfeited. 10. No distinguishing mark will be allowed on any animal until judged, the Societys number affixed to the animal will be the only mark of distinction. 11. No exhibitor, or other person unless authorised by the Committee, will be allowed to ac-company the Judges when discharging their duties. 14. Exhibitors must not consign their stock to the Society or any of its Officials and the Socie-ty will not be responsible for any freight charges for carriage or any delivery costs. 15. Time of leaving for the Sections are set out in the Schedule. 16. If any prize money, due to an exhibitor, is not received at the expiration of 31 days, the Section Secretary should be notified and full particulars stated 17. The Committee reserves the right to increase or change the Judges when necessary without notice. When time permits, such changes will appear in the Catalogue. 18. Complimentary Exhibitors admission tickets will be issued to exhibitors making entries totaling 3.00 and upwards. 19.Exhibits in Dog, Cat and Rabbit Section are governed by their respective Club Rules. 20.Except where otherwise stated, all Challenge Trophies will be held until 1st July 2015, unless recalled earlier by the Society. They must be returned in a sound, clean condition, or if damaged, be repaired to the satisfaction of the Society. 21. In any class with less than 3 entries, the Committee reserve the right to cancel or amalgamate such class. If cancelled entry fee will be returned. 22. Exhibitors must have Public Liability Insurance.

    23. The Society will make the best arrangements in their power for the accommodation and safety of the Public, Exhibitors, Animals and articles sent for exhibiting. The Society will not be responsible for any death or personal injury caused to any person using the Societys facilities save in so far as such death or personal injury results from the negligence of the Society; furthermore the Society will not be responsible for any loss or damage howsoever caused to any property of the Public or Exhibitors. 24. The Committee may refuse any entry at their discretion without giving any reason. 25. Information given to this show will be treated in confidence in accordance with the protection act. Prize winners will be published. HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDE LINES CLEVELAND COUNTY SHOW In the event of an accident, involving competitors or visitors to the Show, Stewards, Medics UK, Honorary Medical practitioner, Honorary Veterinary Surgeon and Police are on hand to assist. Everything reasonably practical has been done to ensure health safety and welfare at the event. Access to and from the site and Show rings must be kept clear. Visitors and competitors must heed the requests made by Stewards, in regard to parking and movement of animals about the site. The Society reserves the right to exclude any person who does not comply. FIRST AID First Aid available from the FIRST AID MEDICAL POST. FIRE Fire Brigade is on site. LIQUID GAS AND ELECTRICITY. All portable electrical and gas appliances should have been tested by a competent person. This is the users responsibility. WATER. Water is limited for small livestock and Horticulture. Please arrange to bring water as needed. TOILETS AND WASHING FACILITIES are sited all around the Park. Please leave them as you would like to find them. Please take particular care of children and dogs, neither of which should be left unattended on the show field. Whilst the Show Committee have taken every possible measure to prevent accidents on the show field, we respectfully advise all competitors and spectators that all animals are unpredictable and everyone should make an effort not to upset or frighten them, which might result in accident or injury.

    8 Labels: Exhibitors must label each jar, bottle, Show Case or other exhibits only with labels sup-plied by the Secretary. Labels should be affixed to jars and bottles 1 inch from the bottom and on Section, Frame, Cut Comb and Show Cases on the top, right corner.

    9 Whilst the Committee will do everything possible to avoid loss and damage at the Show, they cannot be held responsible for any damage to exhibits during transit or at the Show. Exhibitors are therefore asked to bring and stage their own exhibits where possible.

    10 All Cups and Trophies must be returned to the section secretary on or before Friday 15th July 2016. Current award holders should ensure that Cups and Trophies are returned for this years show by Friday 17th July 2015.

    11 WALNUT, DATE AND HONEY CAKE Ingredients and Method Ingredients 225g (8oz) Self Raising Flour 175g (6oz) Softened Butter 100g (3 oz) Stoned Dates 3 tbspns Clear Honey 100g (3 oz) Light Muscovado 50g (1 oz) Walnut Pieces teaspn Ground Cinnamon 2 Eggs (size 3) Beaten 2 Medium Ripe Bananas (approx. 250g/ 8 oz in their skins) Method Pre-heat oven to 160C (Fan 140C), Gas Mark 3. Line the base and long sides of a 900g/2 Lb loaf tin with greaseproof paper, buttering the tin and the paper. Tip the flour, cinnamon, butter, sugar, 2 tablespoons of the honey and the eggs into a large mixing bowl. Mash the bananas and chop the dates and add to the bowl. Beat the mixture for 2-3 minutes using a wood-en spoon or hand-held mixer until the mixture is well blended. Spoon the mixture into the prepared tin and level the top. Scatter the walnut pieces over the top. Bake for 1 hour then lightly press the top. It will feel firm if cooked. Bake for a further 10 minutes if necessary. Cool for 15 minutes and then lift out of the tin using the paper. When cold, drizzle over the remaining honey. To assist with presentation and to protect the cake, please display the cake in a clear polythene bag.
