For many years, the children of the greater Commonwealth of Yisrael who are in

U.S. prisons have gone without an adequate sacred name songbook. This Complete

Believer’s Songbook, Part 1, intends to fill that void. It is designed to be simple and

familiar to all, yet deep and heartfelt in lyric. Soon following will be part 2, which will

combine old standards and some Hebrew classics, as well as a few new things.

In addition to the small book of congregational lyrics, we also offer a version with

guitar chords and an accompanying demo CD for use by musicians and chaplaincies

in prison worship services. These two latter may be obtained with a chaplain or

warden’s permission. We encourage all inmate community leaders and volunteers to

request them in that way and, if approved, they will be sent free of charge to the

prison unit.

We at Sabbath Keepers Fellowship wish to thank all of the artists and musicians

who have given us permission to use their music and lyrics in our Complete

Believer’s Songbook. We hope you enjoy this beautiful music, even as we do, and

that it causes all of you to make a joyful noise to the One who inhabits the praises

and prayers of His people Yisrael, blessed be He, and blessed be His name!
