Competition and Antitrust Law HelpdeskCompliance Training with a Global Reach
More than a mere “awareness” training, the Competition
and Antitrust Law Helpdesk is the next generation of
compliance training, providing a consistent, dependable
and comprehensive means of training staff in
competition and antitrust law compliance from specialists
at Baker & McKenzie.
The area of competition and antitrust law is complex for
companies operating on a global scale. Not only are the
rules in different countries becoming stricter in the
current economic climate, but enforcement and sanctions
are on the increase. Companies in violation of competition
and antitrust laws can find themselves liable for
compensatory and treble damages with fines and
possible jail terms for responsible individuals. Given the
heavy penalties involved, it is critical for companies to
have a consistent and dependable means of training staff
in order to protect both the company and employee, as
well as eliminate or substantially reduce possible
penalties.
