This report integrates all the astrological parameters used by professionalastrologers in their comparative studies of a couple's charts, also known assynastry, and uses a comprehensive methodology based on compatibilitycalculation: we compute the outcome of all the possible combinationsexisting between two charts and we establish a conjugal index, an affectiveindex, a physical index for the couple's compatibility, and a communicationindex.

The programme takes eleven major and minor aspects into account, weighingwith accuracy formulas for each aspect and rulership. It also analyzes fifteenastrological items (planets and angles, Chiron, Lilith and the Lunar Nodesaxis). All the above factors are used for the study of couples and theassessment of our four compatibility ratings or indexes:

The conjugal indexdescribes the essence of the relationship in view of a marital relationship. Itexplains the basis and the structure of the link. It is the most importantelement among the four series of information that are provided here.

The affective indexdescribes the strength of the sentimental components; it is one of theelements of the relationship structure.

The physical indexgives an idea of the sexual attraction. It indicates only a tendency and youmust bear in mind that this very subtle kind of forces may not always expressthemselves in a constantly equal way, but that they may vary significantlyaccording to other modes of exchange.

These four indexes or ratings are given a grade between 0% and 100%.

What is the concrete meaning of these ratings? They indicate the smoothnessof exchanges between two persons and not the quality of their love. Indeed,both partners retain their own choices, their relationship problems or theirpeculiarities: therefore, it is possible to get ratings nearing 100% although therelationship does not have a positive outcome. Please, never forget a fewobvious rules and facts such as in the following examples:

● everyone has one's own character and, for instance, if someone has apredisposition for a belated marriage, an encounter at the age of 18 witha compatible person does not necessarily result into a marriage or arelationship, even if the rating is very high.

● each life goes through very different periods. We may not be availablefor amorous relationships because we are already involved in a couple orbecause our state of mind is not conducive enough etc. Therefore,meetings with persons with whom ratings are very high do notnecessarily result into a relationship.

● some couples may have quite low ratings; this does not meanunhappiness or problems in the relationship. A conjugal rating of 35% or40% is absolutely not incompatible with a life-long relationship. Theratings cannot really give information on the intensity of yourrelationship, which defies these types of criteria. We underline againthat we are dealing here with smoothness and not with quality and thattwo persons with an index of 30% or even 10%, will not experience an"inferior" quality of love, compared to a couple with an index of 80%:the difference probably comes from the fact that they will need to put alot of energy and efforts in the relationship in order to enhance it and tomake it last.

Please, do bear in mind that these figures represent a tendency and not a finalverdict, because of all the factors we have just explained.
