QUESTION:How are the incrementing and decrementing commands
configured in STEP7 Micro compared with STEP5 in ST
ANSWER:The following table lists a comparison between the
incrementing and decrementing commands in STEP5 and STAs opposed to
STEP5, incrementing (increasing) and decrementing (decreasing) can
be done without changing tcontents. In STEP7 MICRO you can only
increase or decrease by "1" as opposed to STEP5 ( 0 to 255).The
"Permissible operand" column lists the operands of the command
together with possible address areas andexample.The incrementing
and decrementing commands in STEP7 Micro are ONLY executed, when
the query of the uppevalue is equal to "1" (e.g. LD I 0.6 must be
"1").
